The Yorkshire Wagon Company started life in 2017 operating as a small hobby business in my spare time. The aim is to supply Wagon kits and parts for 5" Gauge Railways to a scale of 1 inch and 1/6 to the foot.

Many hours are spent working from various sources of information and by studying the full size prototypes to create miniature parts and kits.

A number of different methods are used to create the parts. Some are out-sourced like lost-wax casting, laser-cut steel work and 3D Printing. Many other parts or processes are done in-house, like creating wax patterns for casting, laser-cut wood work, white metal casting and pressing some of the laser-cut steel work.
