Run as a hobby business, stock levels on this website can and will from time to time be used to control the workload here at The Yorkshire Wagon Company. If items are out of stock then they will be replenished as soon as possible. This can sometimes mean a lengthy delay. Parts are ordered in batches often with minimum order requirements, to help keep prices as low as possible. I often have to wait until such orders can be justified or be cost effective. Making parts in house can also take time and is again done in batches to be as efficient as possible.

Time is the biggest challenge here at The Yorkshire Wagon Company. I am a sole trader working around full time employment, family time and my own projects. Please be respectful of this as it can be difficult at times resulting in some delays to orders etc.

Apart from online purchases I would much rather speak to you in person by a simple phone call. I would ask to avoid unnessesary emails as it is far too time consuming, Often things can be dealt with in a matter of minutes over the phone as opposed to bouncing emails back and forth.


Prices are subject to change and can change from one batch of parts to another. Online prices may also differ from printed leaflets or price lists due to the running costs of the website.

You can return the product within 30 days of delivery. The product must be in new condition. If the product is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded. Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide me with a tracking number.

The Yorkshire Wagon Company suggests you get a receipt for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed. The Yorkshire Wagon Company will make a refund of eligible returns. If you paid by invoice, I will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to. The easiest way is to e-mail it to me.


A lot of time and effort  at The Yorkshire Wagon Company is invested in the quality of my products. However faults can occur in wheel casting that I cannot see like, air pockets or hard spots within the casing to name a couple.

When it comes to hard spots I would encourage you to anneal or heat treat your castings should you be having difficulty with them. Put them in a log burner, bonfire or some other method of prolonged heat (Glowing Red) leaving them in and allowing them to cool slowly in the embers.

Should this still fail or you find any other detrimental defects The Yorkshire Wagon Company shall endevour to replace your faulty castings after you return them to me. The returned items can then be taken back to the foundry upon my next order.

While castings can and will be replaced I cannot and will not compensate for loss of time, effort, materials or tools.


To return your product, I will require a receipt or proof of purchase. On items such as Slaters wheels, please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer without speaking to me first. Please see your invoice or contact me for the return address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are returning a faulty item a replacement will be despatched to you free of charge. If the item is being returned because of a customer error (i.e- ordered the wrong item) this will incurr a seperate shipping cost.

If you are shipping an item over £100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.



Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. In certain circumstances an exchange after this time period may be considered so please contact me if this is the case. (i.e- bought as a gift) To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you that we have received your returned item.

If your item is approved we will send your replacment or your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method.


If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me at: sales@theyorkshirewagoncompany.co.uk.


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send me an email at sales@theyorkshirewagoncompany.co.uk. Please see your invoice or contact me for the return adress.



When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give; such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.   DO I Really need to include this!!!!!!!!!!!!


We DO NOT SEND any marketing e-mails. Should this happen please inform us so we can investigate and try to put a stop to it.


When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.


If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at sales@theyorkshirewagoncompany.co.uk.


We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

The Yorkshire Wagon Company will NEVER KNOWINGLY pass on any of your details to any third party, other than those needed to provide you with the service we offer.. Namely, ONE.COM and theire recommended payment gateway provider STRIPE that The Yorkshire Wagon Company has chosen to use. IMPORTANT Please be aware that by using our service you will also be agreeing to their terms and conditions separate to our own and that we have no control over.


Our store is hosted by One.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com's data storage, databases and the general One.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.

The Yorkshire Wagon Company will never see, directly handle or store any card details provided when using this website. The STRIPE payment platform/service has been chosen as they solely deal with such infomation. We only see and handle your postage and order details. All card details are securely held by STRIPE ON THERE SYTEM. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.



We reserve the right to modify our terms of service at any time, so please review it frequently.
